I have to start by writing how Laura and I met! So, Martin and I had just finished shooting a wedding in Miami. Right after the wedding we went to eat pizza with our family (it was an early wedding). Any who, we went to this pizzeria, not even close to where we we’re staying. As we’re sitting down eating the pizza, I see Laura sitting across from my table. She is wearing her huge and shiny engagement ring and also a shirt that said “Engaged AF”. I don’t ever ever do this… but for some reason I felt like I needed to let her know that we were wedding photographers. She stands up and is about to leave, she passes right behind me and I said “Congratulations, you’re engaged!” and she said “Yes! Thank you!” so I proceed by asking if she had a wedding photographer, she said no, so I pull out my phone and show her our IG. She loved our work, months after that, we were officially shooting her wedding! Until this day I can’t believe I did that, talk about a bold move hahaha!
Well, not one second passes by which I ever regret taking that initiative, because it’s safe to say that Laura and Ricky are one of the most amazing people we’ve met! We loved every minute of their wedding and engagement session. We have built a friendship and we value it so much! Their wedding day was so peaceful and beautiful! We danced our butts off, while working, and OMG! We ate the best wedding food EVER!
Laura and Ricky, thank you so much for making us feel like family on your wedding day! We love you guys!
